Times When Frank Sinatra Melted My Soul into a Puddle of Soup

It's a well known fact the name Frank Sinatra is synonymous with the perfect crooner with a glass of a little something in one hand and another gesturing, selling the classic standard that is being sung. I find Mr. Sinatra more than the stereotype he became, I love his early crooning skills, where the acting places the song into plot and context than just a stiff profile shot on the Ed Sullivan Show. As the star-crossed (albeit rather dopey in the Gene Kelly movies) lover in his process of seduction, all you can see is those beautiful blue eyes drawing you in. Basically, that's when this girl turns into a big puddle of soup.

His goofy chemistry and timing with Gene Kelly
(Anchors Aweigh, 1945/On the Town, 1949/Take Me Out to the Ballgame, 1949)

His command while singing "Style"
(Robin Hood and the 7 Hoods, 1964)

All the adorableness and timing during
I Begged Her

(Anchors Aweigh, 1945)

Singing Boys and Girls Like You and Me
(Take Me Out to the Ballgame, 1949)

Oh the looks on his face during
I Fall in Love Easily!
(Anchors Aweigh, 1945)

Singing "The Right Girl for Me"
(Take Me Out to the Ballgame, 1949)

Those seduction skills before You're Awful
went all corny
(On the Town, 1949)
